OAIS Celebrates World Teachers Day
Teachers, for the longest time, have been called as modern unsung heroes. This primarily attributed to the teachers contribution not only in imparting knowledge and honoring a child's future, but in playing the vital role of a second parent of children at school which comes along value-formation in the path of learning process.
The existence of COVID-19 pandemic has adversely affected the educational system in the Philippines. While the rise of online teaching and learning process is something that is not new to us, its importance, however, is stressed as it the most safe means to pursue life-long learning without the fear of getting infected by the virus. Thus making teaching a way more laborious job for our dear teachers.
With the theme: "Teachers: Leading in Crisis, Re-imagining the Future", the school's VSA-II Eng. Lee R. Catane honored the teachers by applauding them for their untiring service as frontliners to the students who, despite these trying times, remain resilient, enthusiast and keen in teaching minds and transforming lives. Indeed, teaching remains the noblest profession one could ever have.
