Secretary Lapeña announced that he requested a 996 Plantilla Positions which will be distributed to all TESDA Offices and Institutions in the country to further widen, strengthen and empower TESDA Offices and Institutions in the country to further widen, strengthen and empower TESDA's workforce in the delivery of its programs to the general public ''During my time, I will give priorities to our Job Order wokers who have eligibilities to find security of tenure in the government service," DG Lapeña vouched. "You have worked with TESDA and so you helped TESDA in the delivery of its mandate and directives; likewise you know already the programs and services of TESDA for the Filipino people," Secretary Lapeña stressed,
Director General Lapeña visited the on-site training of the AFP in Photovoltaic before he left OAIS and proceeded to the Provincial Training Center in Plaridel Misamis Occidental.
To sustain the good practices we have started in bringing the services of TESDA to the identified poorest and priority barangays in your respective provinces, I will proved 4x4 Pick-Up Car to all TESDA Provincial Offices,'' Secretary Lapeña said. It is only until the marginalized people have improved their present living condition through the programs of the government in TESDA can we say that we have made a difference in their lives,'' he added.

As part of his nation-wide tour to all TESDA offices and institutions in the country, Secretary Isidro S. Lapeña, Ph.D., CSEE arrived at TESDA Misamis Occidental on the afternoon of January 22, 2021.
In a speech he delivered at the covered court of Oroquieta Agro-Industrial School, Secretary Lapeña emphasized that his thrust are on two-main things: Global Competetiveness and Social Equity & Poverty Reduction. "We will bring TESDA to the modernized 21st Century Environment. To realize that, I have allocated 4.9 Billion pesos for the establishment of Innovation Centers and E-Learning Centers. We will bring the training on robotics and IT modernized programs to every TESDA learning institutions across the country so that our prospect trainees would no longer have to go Manila just to learn this things," Secretary Lapeña emphasized.
To comply and support with the directive of the government on Executive Order 70 - A whole Nation Approach to End Local Communist Armed-Conflict, together with the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), we conducted Community-Based Trainings in Organic Agriculture and Agri-Crop Production to the geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas. Through the services of TESDA, we have lifted up from the poverty line the lives of the indigent community people," DG Lapeña further added.
