Meet and Greet with TESDA 10's New Regional Director RD Ashary A. Banto

In a forum conducted at the Function Hall of Oroquieta Agro-Industrial School, RD Banto vouched that he will give equal support to Region 10 just as how he supported Regions 6 (western Visayas) and CARAGA which were his previous assignments. "My assurance to you is that I will give the same effort and execute my best in the delivery of TESDA mandate just as how I did it with the two (2) Regions where I was assigned before,'' he said.

Furthermore, RD Banto emphasized that his thrust is on the development of skilled workforce. "I firmly believe that economic prosperity can be attained if we have skilled workforce. The people (human resource) are the income source, the backbone of our economy and the most important workforce in our country. Let us make our services available, timely and appropriate,'' he further added. RD Banto clearly stated that developing a skilled workforce is anchored and relative to the infrastructure development in our country that is geared towards one of the Presidential Directives which is the Build, Build, Build Program.

We will institute changes to improve the delivery of our programs if deemed necessary. During my time, I will support all TTIs. The scholarship programs will benefit all TTI's absorptive capacity. We will deliver the mandates and directives of our secretary to the best of our abilities,'' RD Banto stressed.

Despite the bad weather condition, the newly installed Regional Director of TESDA 10, RD Ashary A. Banto visited TESDA Misamis Occidental on January 13, 2021.
