OAIS is in one with the celebration of International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction
The International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction begun sometime in 1989 when United Nations General Assembly call for a day to promote culture of risk-awareness and disaster reduction. Since then, the annual celebration is held every 13th day of October where it celebrates how people and communities across the globe are reducing their exposure to disasters and raising awareness about the importance of keeping under control the risk that they face.
Oroquieta Agro-Industrial School, being a TESDA-Administered Institution, is in one with the United Nations in the celebration of the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction. For more than two (2) decades, OAIS religiously complies with the protocols instituted by governing agencies to ensure safety during the conduct of the various skilled-programs the school offers.
On May 22, 2020, the Oroquieta City Bureau of Fire and Protection Inspectors conducted an inspection at the school as one of the requisites before granting OAIS the renewal of its Fire Safety Inspection Certificate.
After Safety Inspectors thoroughly scrutinized OAIS' Building along with its facilities, the school was granted with Fire Safety Inspection Certificate - a proof that it has met the safety standards in the delivery of its program offerings.
